It’s worth it searching for diamonds in the rough in Cassini data, because you find gems like this—Saturn’s rings casting a shadow across the planet. This image is a color composite of images taken in the red, green, and blue filters, along with a frame taken in the CB3 (continuum band) as a luminosity frame. Taken by Cassini on December 2, 2013.
