Hi everyone, while you’re waiting for as I work on completing a new blog post, I thought it may interest you to learn a bit about myself. And I figured, what better than my feature on Rocket Women? For those of you who have not yet seen it, it provides a nice opportunity to get to know a little more about who I am. An excerpt from this feature post:
“As a child, the questions that fascinated me were all related to space: What are black holes? What is dark matter? How did the Universe begin, and how will it end? Does life exist beyond Earth? (How could it NOT exist beyond Earth in such a vast Universe?!) With all we know about this Universe we live in, there’s far more that we don’t know, and these questions burned like embers in my mind when I began my undergrad. That’s when I realized I wanted to study astrophysics, to be able to work on figuring this type of stuff out.”
For more about my unconventional path to the field of physics, please check out my feature post, and Meet a Rocket Woman—me! Bonus: you’ll get to see me wearing my custom dark matter print dress from Shenova Fashion (print from Millennium Simulation). =)
I hope you enjoy it!
